Thick Oil! Sometimes the THC Oil is so thick, it has trouble passing through the coils when cold. Any new pen needs to be initiated with a long-haul in order for the oil to move properly through the chamber. A short-haul will end up sucking in oil and not heating it up enough so it will just accumulate until it clogs the unit. Alternatively, insert a paperclip inside the mouthpiece of a clogged Matrix Steal pen and give it a long-haul to initiate the process again.

    I’ve reviewed these before but wanted to add something new about clogging. My new method to fix is aggressively sticking the end of a paperclip in the hole. Works first time, every time!

    These are the best vape pens out there by far! That being said, I tend to stay away from anything that has “food” flavours. That’s not what I’m looking for. I like them to taste like pot, not a snack! I’ve got a stash of 6 now. They’re just so convenient and discreet. But the best part of all is they pack a punch! I too found that if not used regularly they tend to “clog” and I needed to aggressively puff to get it going again. Have found that storing them in an upright position, mouth end up, has pretty much taken care of the problem.

    One out of 5 didn’t work. Nice flavors, but none of them got me all that high. When they were working they worked well, but if you let them sit for a bit the airflow hole clogs. A little puffing at it fixes that eventually, but annoying af to have to do it.

      Thanks for your review. We recommend for draw for at least 2-3 seconds to clear the residual oil before it has a chance to harden around the coil, and storing it mouth pice up in a pen jar at room temperature if possible.

And trust me if you buy one of these and you think it’s dead keep trying to draw on it like 20+ times happened to mme after about 30 hits wouldn’t work so I kept doing quick light pulls and it finally kicked back in and lasted for about another 100 hits I would say

    These guys are great. Quick, discreet, and delicious. The heavily flavoured ones (tangerine, berries, mint) give some pretty quick dry mouth but it’s worth it. Its just the right buzz in just the right amount of time.
