This Battery is the “pen” component of your vape pen, and will provide power and heat to vaporize your desired oil. Simply screw a compatible cartridge to the top, turn it on, and toke away. This can be used with most cartridges that are compatible with breath-actuated power supply—the industry standard for vape pens.

The 510 tread is again an industry standard, and conforms to the specifications of the majority of cartridges on the market, such as those used by Buzzed Extracts, Jupiter and Toko Gold. Output is 9.5w and the battery also features an LED light to notify the user of activation, charging, and completed charge.

While battery life varies depending on heat and length of draws, a full charge on one of these batteries should provide power for 25-50 draws. Perhaps the greatest virtue of these batteries is their longevity: after 300 full charge cycles (defined as fully charging the battery after a complete discharge) the battery will still retain roughly 80% of its initial capacity. Further, these Li-ion batteries do not suffer the “memory effects” that plague other rechargeable batteries, meaning that there’s no harm done if you were to top off the charge without draining the battery completely.

Although the term “510” is widely used in the vaping industry to designate a compatible connection, a published specification for a 510 threaded connection does not exist. Not all products that utilize a “510”  connection are compatible with products from other manufacturers. While all of these products utilize an M7 threaded connection, the similarity does not extend beyond the thread pattern. The depth of the electrical contacts, the air inlet locations, and other features may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Usable Life: Li-ion batteries have ~80% of their initial capacity after 300 charge cycles. A charge cycle is defined as fully charging the battery followed by complete discharge. Li-ion batteries do not suffer from the memory effect common in NiCd and NiMH batteries. There is no need to fully deplete the battery before recharging.

Cycle Life: The cycle life of a device can be defined as the number of times the device can be activated after it has been fully charged before it needs to be recharged. Each charge is equivalent to 25-50 draws.
